Yoga is for everyone

Hi, I’m Claire (she/her)

I am a yoga teacher based in South East London. I teach breath and alignment based, postural yoga. I aim to teach from a genuine, kind, welcoming and accepting place. I believe yoga is for everyone.

I completed the 350 hour teacher training with Anna Ashby and Tony Watson at Triyoga (accredited by the British Wheel of Yoga and Yoga Alliance Professionals) and ‘Teaching yoga to Children’ with Susannah Hoffman at Triyoga (Accredited by Yoga Alliance Professionals) and Accessible Yoga Training (38hr) with Jivana Heyman and Accessible Yoga School.

Where I teach

I currently offer yoga classes at the beautiful Beckenham Place Mansion (Fridays) and Lewisham Unity (41 Bromley Road, Catford) (Tuesday and Wednesday).

The Wednesday class at Lewisham Unity is a drop in, gentle, accessible class. It is mainly seated.

New students

Please contact me if you are new to practicing with me, new to yoga, or are working with any injury or condition or just have any questions.

Please bring a mat, other props are useful if you have them. Please don’t buy anything if this is your first class.

Everyone is welcome.

Charity and community work

I am interested in teaching for charities or community organisations (pro bono/reduced rate), so if you are interested in setting up a class or have an event, then please get in touch. I currently teach extra curricular school club for kids, seated yoga and yoga for adults with learning disability at a local school and local daycentres.
